Stock in Nelspruit, Johannesburg, Kitwe and Solwezi
Country
Two South African sites: the head office and workshop in Nelspruit, and the stockholding warehouse in Johannesburg. Between them they cover material handling, plant and industrial supply nationally.
South Africa is where the group started and where the material handling division is based. Nelspruit holds the attachment business — Saur and Stricta clamps, rotators, positioners, tyre manipulators, weighing systems, bin tippers and safety cages — along with the technical people who specify them. Johannesburg carries consumable and tooling stock and puts the supply division inside a day’s reach of Gauteng, the North West and Limpopo.
The two sites divide the country between them by road rather than by province. Nelspruit reaches Mpumalanga, Limpopo, the Lowveld and KwaZulu-Natal, and is the departure point for cross-border consignments into Mozambique, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. Johannesburg reaches Gauteng, the platinum and chrome belts and the Western Cape.
Sectors follow the geography. Coal and chrome in Mpumalanga and Limpopo, platinum around Rustenburg, citrus, macadamia, banana and cane through the Lowveld, pulp and paper across Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal, and general fabrication, warehousing and manufacturing everywhere in between. The attachment on the truck and the wire on the shelf are usually going to the same customer.
Consumables come back with pricing, availability and lead time. Equipment comes back with the model, the carriage class and a price.
