Johannesburg is a warehouse and a stockholding point rather than an office with a counter, and the page says so plainly because that is what customers should expect. It exists because the industrial supply division sells on availability: a fabricator in Germiston or a mine store in Rustenburg cannot wait for a consignment to come up from the Lowveld when the job is on the bench today.
Held here are the fast-moving consumable lines — MIG and flux-cored wire, TIG rods, stick electrodes, torch consumables, cutting and grinding discs, flap discs, gas cutting equipment and PPE — plus the INGCO and Tolsen tooling range. Material handling enquiries are handled from here too, with attachments specified by the Nelspruit technical desk and delivered into Gauteng.
The delivery footprint runs across Kempton Park, Germiston, Boksburg, Springs, Krugersdorp, Pretoria and Vereeniging as local work, out to Rustenburg and the platinum and chrome belt, and down to the Western Cape on scheduled freight. Where a Gauteng buyer is supplying a Zambian site, the same order can be routed through the Kitwe warehouse instead.
Consumables come back with pricing, availability and lead time. Equipment comes back with the model, the carriage class and a price.
