Push Pulls

Slip sheets in place of pallets

The Push Pull attachment provides a cost-effective solution, whereby standard wooden or plastic pallets are substituted by an inexpensive slip sheet, increasing shipping volume. The attachment is connected to a conventional forklift truck and can be swiftly disconnected to return to handling pallets.

A push pull grips the lip of a slip sheet, drags the load onto a smooth platen and then pushes it back off at the destination. The pallet is replaced by a sheet of fibreboard or plastic a few millimetres thick, which is the whole point: the weight, the cost and the cubic space of the pallet all come out of the supply chain.

Export and beverage operations use it most, because a container loaded on slip sheets carries measurably more product than the same container loaded on pallets. Fork-mounted versions can be removed in minutes, so a truck can go back to conventional pallet work between containers instead of standing idle.

05Forklift compatibility

Fits ISO Class II, III and IV fork carriages

In service on Toyota, Linde, Hyster, Jungheinrich, TCM, Manitou, JCB, Feeler, Yale and Komatsu trucks across the region.

  • Hydraulic attachments run off the truck’s auxiliary services; where a truck has too few, an additional service or a solenoid selector can be fitted.
  • Mechanical attachments slip over standard fork arms and need no hydraulic connection at all.
  • Fitting an attachment changes the truck’s rated capacity, so the derated capacity plate is confirmed as part of the quote.

07Questions

Push Pulls — questions

01How much space does slip sheet handling save?
A slip sheet is a few millimetres thick against roughly 140 mm for a wooden pallet, and it weighs a fraction as much. In a container that difference converts directly into additional payload and fewer shipments.
02Can the truck still handle pallets?
With a fork-mounted push pull, yes — it is designed to be removed and refitted quickly without taking the forks off, so the same truck goes back to pallet work between container loads.
