Hinged Attachments

Forward tilting for bulk and loose material

Hinged Fork Carriages are engineered for the safe and efficient forward tilting of bulk goods and containers. When equipped with specialised buckets or arms, they become highly effective at transporting loose materials like sand, soil, and industrial waste.

A hinged fork carriage pivots forward hydraulically, so a load can be tipped rather than set down. Fitted with a bucket or shaped arms it turns a counterbalance forklift into a machine that can pick up, carry and discharge loose material — sand, soil, crushed brick, grain, fertiliser or plant waste.

It suits sites that need occasional bulk handling but cannot justify a loader for it. Hydraulic safety locks are built into the circuit so the carriage cannot tilt unintentionally under load, and the frame is designed to keep the operator’s sightline to the bucket lip clear while tipping.

Capacities, jaw ranges and rotation are model-specific — the exact figures are confirmed against your truck and load when we quote.

05Forklift compatibility

Fits ISO Class II, III and IV fork carriages

In service on Toyota, Linde, Hyster, Jungheinrich, TCM, Manitou, JCB, Feeler, Yale and Komatsu trucks across the region.

  • Hydraulic attachments run off the truck’s auxiliary services; where a truck has too few, an additional service or a solenoid selector can be fitted.
  • Mechanical attachments slip over standard fork arms and need no hydraulic connection at all.
  • Fitting an attachment changes the truck’s rated capacity, so the derated capacity plate is confirmed as part of the quote.
