Fork Clamps
Positioner and clamp in one carriage
Fork Clamps are multi-functional attachments that function as both a conventional fork positioner and a clamp. This allows the forklift to handle standard palletised loads as well as awkward, non-palletised items such as crates, boxes, and scrap bales.
A fork clamp is a positioner with clamping faces on the fork arms. Open, it handles pallets like any other truck; closed onto a load, it grips crates, boxes, bales or bundles directly. One carriage covers both duties, so a truck does not have to leave the aisle to change attachments.
It is the practical answer for operations where most of the work is palletised but a meaningful share is not — a workshop taking in crated machinery, a fibre plant handling both bales and pallets, or a port terminal seeing mixed cargo. Side shift is integrated into the valve body, so alignment is available in the same movement.
Also known as: Clamping fork positioner · Fork clamp carriage · Combination clamp
Benefits
- Versatile design supports both clamping and standard pallet handling
- T-shaped sliding pair ensures even load distribution and high strength
- Side-shift function integrated into the valve body for ease of use
- Self-lubricating supports provide reliable performance in demanding environments
Where it is used
- Tobacco, paper and chemical-fibre plants handling bales and pallets on one truck
- Ports and terminals working mixed palletised and crated cargo
- General manufacturing taking delivery of crated plant and machinery
- Any site where a second dedicated clamp truck cannot be justified

Capacities, jaw ranges and rotation are model-specific — the exact figures are confirmed against your truck and load when we quote.
Fits ISO Class II, III and IV fork carriages
In service on Toyota, Linde, Hyster, Jungheinrich, TCM, Manitou, JCB, Feeler, Yale and Komatsu trucks across the region.
- Hydraulic attachments run off the truck’s auxiliary services; where a truck has too few, an additional service or a solenoid selector can be fitted.
- Mechanical attachments slip over standard fork arms and need no hydraulic connection at all.
- Fitting an attachment changes the truck’s rated capacity, so the derated capacity plate is confirmed as part of the quote.
