Carton Clamps
Appliance and carton handling without pallets
Carton clamps provide safe, efficient handling of carton-packaged goods, ideal for pallet-free operations in industries like tobacco and home appliances — refrigerators, TVs and washing machines. This attachment features an all-steel frame and self-lubricating sliding bars to ensure high strength and reliability during intensive operations.
A carton clamp handles boxed product by squeezing it between two padded arms, so cartons can be stacked directly on the floor or in a trailer with no pallet underneath them. The arms are deliberately thin so they can be slid into the gap between stacked units without disturbing the goods next to them.
The attachment is standard in white goods and tobacco distribution, where product is bulky, light for its volume and expensive to damage. Loading a container by clamp rather than by pallet recovers the cubic space the pallets would have occupied, which on a long export leg is the whole business case.

Capacities, jaw ranges and rotation are model-specific — the exact figures are confirmed against your truck and load when we quote.
Fits ISO Class II, III and IV fork carriages
In service on Toyota, Linde, Hyster, Jungheinrich, TCM, Manitou, JCB, Feeler, Yale and Komatsu trucks across the region.
- Hydraulic attachments run off the truck’s auxiliary services; where a truck has too few, an additional service or a solenoid selector can be fitted.
- Mechanical attachments slip over standard fork arms and need no hydraulic connection at all.
- Fitting an attachment changes the truck’s rated capacity, so the derated capacity plate is confirmed as part of the quote.
South Africa & Zambia
Attachments are supplied from Nelspruit for South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Eswatini and Lesotho, and through the Kitwe branch for Zambia, the Copperbelt and the southern DRC corridor.
- South Africa — head office, warehouse and service in Nelspruit, with stockholding in Johannesburg
- Zambia — branch office and warehouse in Kitwe, plus a supply depot in Solwezi
- Cross-border freight and documentation arranged per consignment where the destination requires it
Carton Clamps — questions
- 01Will a carton clamp crush the packaging?
- Not when clamping pressure is set for the product. Pressure control and contact-pad selection are part of specifying the unit, and the arms are sized to spread the load across the carton face.
- 02Can a carton clamp handle more than one unit at a time?
- Yes, provided the units are the same size and the truck has the derated capacity for them. Multi-unit handling is one of the reasons the attachment pays for itself in appliance distribution.
